I like 3 and 4. Enough subject to catch my attention, and clean (lack of distractions) so I can read my own feeling into the pictures.

#3 and #4 from the first set, and the one you label let the sun shine through on the second set. The let the sun shine through might be a good canidate for HDR to help with the over exposure and dark areas.


On the he said she said looks like the lamp post is leaning too much.

Overall looks good keep posting your work, and welcome to the forum.

OK I have to say. The light fixtures in the first picture looks like they should be hanging from the ceiling in a hooters resturant. Use your imagination and you know what I mean! Heh, heh. My favorite is the sunshine picture.

Thanks for the compliments and constructive criticism.

Doing HDR would defeat my purpose of separating light sources from shadows, and the lamp posts were designed to lean like that (mall designer's idea). If you check the pavement, it's an almost perfect horizon.
